Happy Black Party Weekend, everybody. Fun fun!

This is Part 2 of my Sydney set with a few added tracks. A little darker, a little dirtier, and it was my favorite part of the evening. During the night, I had a dancer request many times to play Teenage Crime, one of my favorite songs. I promised her I'd play it... so I did... mashed with a little Underworld.

I also enoyed the technical glitch at the end of my set when the announcer thanked "Murray Hood". I got a good chuckle. You can only control what you can control. Well, as my Aussie friends Bret, Dennis, and Dino taught me and say all the time: It's all good.

I had the time of my life.

The Urge to Mardi Gras - Part 1

In November 2010, my journey down under began with a party in Auckland, New Zealand. Al and Paul from The Urge Bar and Matt from Bearracuda invited me and DJ 50 Pound Note to perform at the 420 Bar on K Road. What a memorable night.

Matt, Al, and Paul - Thank you.

One week later, Matt, Jeb, my partner Bobby, and I headed to Sydney to party with the Harbour City Bears at The Midnight Shift on Oxford Street in Sydney, Australia. Jonny, his partner Alan, our new friend Richard, and the rest of the Sydney gents made us feel like part of a family. I had one of the best vacations in a long time.

1 month later I received an invitation from New Mardi Gras to spin at the Mardi Gras 2011 After Party in the Royal Hall of Industries (RHI) alongside some pretty big named DJs including Calvin Harris (Horden), Seamus Haji, Frankie Knuckles (Horden), and Yinon Yahel as well as live performances by Alexis Jordan (Happiness) and Wynter Gordon (Dirty Talk). I was pretty stoked.

The day before I left for Sydney, Bearracuda and I traveled to Atlanta, GA for a night of uplifting house and a preview of my RHI set at The Heretic Bar.

It's been a busy month with lots of travel to Europe and back. But I had time to squeeze in one last podcast before I go on a brief summer hiatus from Djing.

Starting later this month we'll be traveling a substantial amount in Europe. New adventures. New responsibilities. New experiences.

I'll be publishing booking dates and venue locations soon for club gigs. But here is a brief summary:

We're also working on confirming a date in Barcelona later this year.
